trelvix: (Don’t Walk.) He wonders if Superman ever wore the wrong shoes. Not the wrong shoes like, “I hate the way these shoes squish my toes,” but like, “I hate the way these shoes show off my cankles.” He thinks about what a self-conscious Superman might do should he catch your eye lingering for too long on the cankle boots. He would probably say something. “My eyes are up here, Citizen!” He would feel bad about it too. It’s Superman after all. He comes all the way across the universe just to be orphaned and to develop late-life cat allergies and lactose intolerance. It’s not like they had shoes on his planet.  Maybe they had shoes. Who knows? He always assumed that everyone from Superman’s planet wore the footies that came with the unitards. Now that he gives it some thought he doesn’t know where he got that idea.
